PROSAK MEMBERSHIP

 

Membership to the Association is based on one having primary interest on or active involvement in the security and Safety profession. Membership is based upon interest in the purpose and objective of the code of ethics as a prerequisite for, as a condition of, continued affiliation with the Association membership is by individual or corporate organization.

 

PROSAK FELLOW MEMBERS

 

  • Are persons who are holders of at least a Masters Degree in Security, Safety, Criminology or Forensic related fields from a credited university plus a mandatory ten years’ worth of relevant practical experience at a managerial level.
  • Fellow members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Three Thousand {Ksh. 3,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Ten Thousand {Ksh. 10,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK FULL MEMBERS

 

  • Are persons who are holders of at least an Undergraduate Bachelors Degree in Security, Safety, Criminology or Forensic related fields from a credited university plus a mandatory eight years’ worth of relevant practical experience at a managerial level.
  • Full members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Three Thousand {Ksh. 3,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Eight Thousand {Ksh. 8,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK TECHNICAL MEMBERS

 

  • Are persons who are holders of at least a Higher Diploma or Diploma certificate in Security, Safety, Criminology or Forensic related fields from a credited institution of learning plus a mandatory five years’ worth of relevant practical experience.
  • Technical members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Three Thousand {Ksh. 3,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Eight Thousand {Ksh. 8,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK AFFILIATE MEMBERS

 

  • Are persons who have relevant certificates and have undergone short courses training in Security, Safety, Criminology or Forensic related fields from credited institutions of learning plus a mandatory ten years’ worth of relevant practical experience.
  • Affiliate members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Three Thousand {Ksh. 3,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Five Thousand {Ksh. 5,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

 

  • Associate membership is open to members who are professionals in other disciplines that may not be within the direct knowledge content of Security, Safety, Criminology or Forensics but nonetheless are stakeholders in the objects of this Society, such as law, sociology, psychology, anthropology, accounts, conflict management, medicine, management, human resource, computer science, theology among others.
  • They must have attained at least a university degree in their area of expertise from accredited University plus at least five years of experience.
  • Associate members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Three Thousand {Ksh. 3,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Fifteen Thousand {Ksh. 15,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK CORPORATE MEMBERS

 

  • Where an organization or an institution attains membership of the Association as a corporate member, such an organization or institution nominates a representative to exercise, on their behalf the rights of the organization or institution concerned.
  • The representative of the institution or organization shall not be granted any other membership and shall only be the representative of the institution or organization that had nominated him/her. Such a representative shall have no voting rights neither shall they be eligible to be elected or nominated to hold any office within the Association. Nonetheless other employees of the said institution are at liberty to join the Association as individual members in respect to their qualification.
  • Corporate members shall pay a one off non-refundable registration fee of Kenyan Shillings Ten Thousand {Ksh. 10,000} as well as an annual, renewable and non-refundable fee of Kenyan Shillings Fifty Thousand {Ksh. 50,000} to attain and maintain membership with the Association.

PROSAK HONORARY MEMBERS

 

  • Honorary membership is at the invitation of the Governing Council and is bestowed by the Governing Council in recognition of a particular contribution in the field of Security, Safety Criminology, Crime Prevention, Penology|Corrections, Conflict Management, Peace and National Cohesion or any one or more objectives of the Association.
  • Honorary Members shall not be mandatorily required to pay membership fee but shall be at liberty to financially and materially support the Society meet her objectives.
  • Honorary Members shall be of high integrity standards and one that command a greater degree of national and international respect and honor.
